Crushing on my daughters, part 1

Megan's parents put together a family video last year that featured segments on all of their grandchildren. Kate's segment was set to a song that was perfect for her personality, and we've since renamed it "Kate's song." Megan was on a business trip in Spain this January and the song came on, causing more than a few tears from missing her daughters. I wasn't able to transfer that segment over to my computer so I just made a new movie, including some video.

I just started on my video of Clara, so stay tuned for part 2...

I have to admit that I use to worry that it would be hard to love the second child as much as the first. That went away the day Kate was born. I can't imagine our family without her. This video makes me cry every time I see it! Thanks for making it Joel!

Ever since the family video I think of that as "Kate's song" too! Whenever I hear it, I smile and think of her. She is a one-of-a-kind girl. Can't wait to give her some hugs in a couple weeks!

I love her dances... everytime I see her dance it makes me inadvertantly wiggle too. I find myself doing her moves!

I miss all of you so much! I loved seeing the pics/videos and can't wait to see Clara too.

Hug the girls for us.

That is awesome and beautiful! My friend made something similar for her husband's first father's day - they have twin girls. I bawled through the whole thing!:)
